BlogDay2005

Today is the Day… The Blog Day.
Well needless to say I just knew about it 2 days ago, and only right now I got to understand what it is all about with the help of my dear friend MoonLightShadow.

OK, down to work.. here is my contribution (for the english blogs) in no spesific order:

Jia Li and her blog “ZwinkerN”:
I am sure of the amusements you going to find through out her daily stories and posts.
Her “Blogger Land expressions” are really funny, her drawings are awesome..
What are you waiting for, hurry up, you might have yourself a nut nickname like the rest of her friends ;)
BTW: I am her Blue M&M ..

Olivia and her “London dispatches”:
I wander what can I say after ==> A real English lady.. with all the meanings this word can have.
PS: And after her late beautiful posts, I wish to meet her more than ever before :)

Omar and “Earth to him”:
A nice blog I met couple of months ago for Omar, a Syrian guy living in Canada with a nice sense of humor and a lot of stories to tell :)

Mohamed_g and his "/bo0rked":
The 1st thing that’s going to attract you is the codes he’s putting on the right side bar.. And it won’t be the last..

Slo and his “Day Dreams”:
Sadly he’s not around lately -due his tour around the world-, but once he’s back I know I will enjoy reading his detailed stories about his life and other un-expected things I bet you’ll like it too..

FreeSoul and his "Back to life, free ":
That guy writes, don't you go and enjoy?!

Mr Dxer and his "Dxing Stories":
He's a bit lazy these days, yet when he's back. You'll know all about his Radio and DXing Tales ;)

These were part of my choices..
Yet there are still a lot more to say.. and a lot more blogs I check regularly..
Just go to my left side bar to see the rest of my folks and blogger friends.

Love you all
And Happy BlogDay to you..

Yesterday..

I went with my mother for shopping since a very long time. I had fun really, though I am not a shopping-fan. I just hate it especially if its cloth shopping. Thank God it was just to the near by groceries.. But I enjoyed my time with her exchanging some wicked giggles gossiping about my brother and father :) Ain’t those moments so cherished, I wonder why don’t I seek living them for real!

*****

Today..

I was surprised to hear about the new movie “Phantom of the opera”. I know I am always out of date when it comes to cinema or movies, but this one stroked me.
When I 1st heard the musical play starting Sarah Brightman, I truly fell in love with her voice and the style.
Now I got a movie I am passionately looking forward to see.

***

I was in another meeting in collage with my publications committee members.
Tell you days do have great effect on melting the ice between people. Who would say we’d turn out to be such cool buddies, enjoying our time together to the utmost!
So far I am so happy, content and satisfied to meet such people in my life..
I sincerely like their presence along my road of life..
I love you guys.. all of you..
May God bless you for me :)

*****

Right now..

I am listening to a musical master piece called “sometimes… someone” by the great composer I just told you about “Yiruma”. And with each note played on the piano I feel as if my heart is as light as a feather.. I have this feeling of the belief I-am-ready-to-fly sneaking back to me.

I spent nearly 4 minuets –the duration of that piece- just writing the above two lines. Then I replayed, relaxed and closed my eyes..
I saw me flying in space.. jumping between the stars and dancing a lost ray of sunlight..
Some creepy feelings are getting into my heart lately yet I can’t define what is going on. I’m not armed enough to face the next battle alone.. and I don’t have the courage to withdraw.. I believe its my longing to get inside and take the risk.
It might result in a broken heart.. a lost soul or sad memories. And it might result in a dance with a morning twilight.

Mornin 2 U :)

Ok.. I wake up this morning with various mixed feelings of happiness and hesitation. I had plenty of things in mind to write. Yet, after a one hour writing and editing.. I thought suddenly, I won’t post anything.
ONE CLICK! All erased..

I thought: What is private should always kept as private.. at least for today :)

Or what you think?!

Music agina and again..

It all started last year when I watched 2 of my favorite foreign series so far: “winter sonata” and “autumn in my heart”. 2 Korean serieses were played on our national TV, as a sort of cultural exchange treaty between the 2 countries.
That was my real 1st introduction to the south Asian culture *music and entertainment*.
I never tried to search or learn anything about Korea, Japan, Taiwan or any other country. i.e. I never cared.
OK! I admit how stupid I was not to dive into such rich culture!!
I’ve already wasted 20 years of my life stuck into the-one-culture-attitude.. which I truly regret ..

I won’t say I am familiar with their culture still, but all I can tell they deserve whatever position they’ve reached after all.
Those who took good care of their life with all its aspects: economically, industrially, culturally, literature… should be on the top.

Right now I newly discovered 3 of the treasured Japanese figures: Jo Sung Mo, Yiruma and Yuhki Kuramoto..
I believe if you are into such type of slow sentimental music.. you should give yourself a try.. especially these:
Yiruma-Kiss the rain
Yiruma-Small Steps
Yiruma-Dream
Yiruma-The moment
Yiruma-Shining Smile
Yiruma-Wait there
yuhki kuramoto-Dawn
yuhki kuramoto-lonely sailing
yuhki kuramoto-virgin road
yuhki kuramoto-stilness
yuhki kuramoto-peacefully
yuhki kuramoto-odine
yuhki kuramoto-sentimental moment
Jo Sung Mo- Jal Gah Yo Nae Sa Rang
Jo Sung Mo-Do you know
Jo Sung Mo-Never
Korean Drama - Autumn in my Heart - Endless Love (eurodance)

If you want the latter, just email me and I’ll deliver it right away to your inbox ..
You can still search for more.. Those people really deserve your effort *take my words*

A new quiz

You scored as Islam. Your beliefs are most similar to those of Islam. Do more research on Islam and possibly consider taking the shahadah and officially becoming a Muslim, if you aren't already.
Despite the actions of some - who go against the teachings of Islam - Islam is a religion of peace; the word "islam" means "peace through submission to God." "Muslim" means "one who submits to God." Islam is the third of the three Abrahamic faiths, and it shares much with Judaism in Christianity; its differences are the acceptance of Muhammad as the last and final prophet, and the oneness of God - in other words, that Jesus, though he was a revered prophet, was not in fact God, and only one God exists. Apparently the Taliban could not read (though their name means "students"), because the Qur'an states that men and women are equal as believers, and that all believers should be educated and seek knowledge. Modesty in dress and behavior is required in Islam for both men and women to preserve the values of society and move the emphasis from superificial appearance to intelligence, knowledge, and God.

So, I’ve been tagged again :)

Thanks to *~$&!~* I have to answer her tagging back..

10 years ago:
I was in my school, I guess as a prep student.. And I guess life looked much better than now. I was still un-veiled, and without my glasses.

5 years ago:
that made me 15 years old.. my best days of life.. I always heard they say: being 15 or 16 is the best thing that can ever happen to you.. Yet I never believed until I became 20.
Nop! I wasn’t much better than now, only the innocence I used to have back then, makes me feel pity on myself right now. Oh and by the way, I guess I was still un-veiled, but with glasses.

1 year ago:
I was still with my lovely gang before separation. Ummmm, only year ago I got to know who my brother is for real. I mean diving down into his personality.. Knowing what he likes and what he hates. Plus I got to know some new figures I wasn’t familiar with.. probably my look at things changed may be like 100% in just the last year. No need to mention I became already a veiled young lady with glasses and studying engineering in one of the finest collages in Cairo :)

Tomorrow:
another Friday to come, I don’t know what exactly I’ll be doing.. most probably I’ll be heading for a walk in my club as usual.. or may be I’ll go and help mother in kitchen.. but certainly *by GOD’s willing* I’ll go blogging and surfing the net + listening to the new melodies I newly discovered online.

5 snacks I enjoy:
Chocolate bars, chips, butter cookies, donuts and Cesar salad ;)

5 bands/artists that I know the lyrics to most of their songs:
Fareed el atrash *Lebanese singer*, José Feliciano, Garth brooks, Richard Marx and Om Kalthoum *legendary Egyptian singer*

5 things I'd do with $100,000,000:
buy my laptop, buy my digital radio, go with family to pilgrim, buy a decent car and open a school for poor.

5 locations I'd like to run away to:
Spain, Korea, Mecca, Alb mountains and Moscow.

5 bad habits I have:
scattering my books and papers everywhere, listening to music A LOT, wasting my time on the computer, not practicing any sports and not a fan of healthy food.

5 things I like doing:
buying a lot of books, blogging, DXing *sometime*, walking alone and watching the beach at sunset.

5 thing I will never wear:
Mini skirts, Super high heels, half stomach, open dresses and tight jeans.

5 TV shows I like:
FULL HOUSE *rocks*, opera, Frasier, friends and married to the Kelly’s.

5 movies I like:
Esha3t 7ob *rumors of an affair*, gone with the wind, legends of the fall, city of angels and finding Nemo.

5 people I'd like to meet:
mm.. Fareed el Atrash, and his sister Asmahan. Ah and a psychiatrist I watched last week on TV, he’s marvelous.

5 biggest joys at the moment:
having a new comment on the blog while blogging, having a call from a friend I miss, my mother’s call to have lunch together and listening to my favorite song un-expectedly on radio :)

5 favorite toys:
my bunny.. and my old doll.. nothing more really, I wasn’t fan of toys when I was young.. and even now

I'm tagging:
Olivia, Jia Li, Sheryos, Free Soul, Slo *when he’s back*, T’ee *if you’d excuse me*, Moonlightshadow, Omar, Nerro.. I guess that’s more than enough..

Alrighty people.. good night
I feel really sleepy and tired

A new post

And I’ve check a blog of a friend I haven’t seen for a while. Just like any other time, I clicked on the link and wished to read a new thing. To my luck I found him post a brand new one. That drew a smile on my face, reading friend’s news from time to time!

But that time was different *without details* but getting into somebody’s interior life is really strange.. Some times its exciting.. and other times its boring..
Yet this time it was like sneaking from the back door.. or like poking my nose in someone’s privacy.
Yeah, I know he’s the one who posted his words on purpose. But I felt kind of blushing some how.. and when I heard the song he’d mentioned, I was surrounded by a foggy memory of some days passed me by. That right now, when I recall, I believe “these were the best days of my life”..

No matter if you’ll read that or not, I just wana tell you a little advice from your sister: keep on the feeling up high, keep it flirting every corner in your life.. and keep it pumping more..

Yours.. Blue
