Actually I was thinking about it...and yeah I would mention it..them actually..my blogger one(no more live 7'alas!) and my guitar blog...asl MY resume should represent and talk about ME...and these two blog shows alot of me...I'm proud of them and there's no reason for not mentioning them.

I will probably state them in the section where I talk about my skills which are not in my education domain and my volunteer work in the uni or outside...

w ba3den 3ashan my employer yelem nafso or nafsaha keda w yeb2o mo7tarameen ma3aya wa 2ella hafda7hom...w law kano 3edleen...free advertising tab3an :D

I agree with nightS and Yes, I'd mention my blog in my resume, and without any hesitation. However, I'd simply mention it as my website (since my blog is actually my website) under my personal information section.

I don't personally prefer to mention "Blog" explicitly in the resume but I guess this might be handy if you have more than one blog.

thats cool Layal & Mohamed, and promising answers in fact!

yet tell me, what if you own a political blog for example? or not necessarily political, but you tackle polities thru your talk, and most likely you appear from the opposing party..

will you still mention it?

My blog is mentioned in my online-cv, and I mentioned the English one only, coz I like it more than my Arabic one, and don't ask me why.

According to HR professionals you should include everything that would strengthen your application on your CV. If the nature of your blog is relevant to the kind of jobs you are applying for then you should probably mention it.

Sometimes you have to edit your CV based on the job you are applying to in order to highlight specific skills or experience relevant to the job description, so your blogging experience doesn't have to be on your CV all the time.

In general, I don't think those who prefer to hide their personal identity on their blogs, myself included, would refer to those blogs on their CVs.

Answering your question, Blue. I'd still mention it as long as it's relevant.
For example if I work in Technology, and my blog is devoted Technology or is a personal blog that might include some technically themed posts then it'd be no problem to mention it in the resume.
On the other hand if I run a blog that is dedicated to politics, literature, science, or some other field, it'd be simply irrelevant to mention it in my resume (as long as the job doesn't involve that specific field), so I simply won't mention it.

Tamam keda? :)

Depends on which type of blogger you are. If you are of the 'open' type that shows his identity mentioning his full name in his blog profile, then it might be a good idea to show the URL of one or more of your blogs in your CV provided that your blog is related to the work you are applying to and not just the old repeated idea of a political venting corner. On the other hand if you are hiding behind a nickname and not revealing your real world identity, then there is really no point in mentioning your blog in your CV! It's a no brainer in this case.
